IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19
CALL THE OFFICE BEFORE COMING INTO THE CLINIC
To minimize the risk of exposure to COVID-19 we are asking all patients to call before coming into the clinic so our medical team can manage your case appropriately.
To reduce the risk of disease spread by keeping people at home and out of doctors’ offices, and to enable patients to receive the necessary ervices, the Ministry of Health nd our medical team is recommending telephone consultations whenever appropriate. We will be actively reducing non-essential visits.
Our medical team is dedicated to serving and supporting you and your families during this difficut time and we appreciate your patience in advance.

Who is being tested for COVID-19?
Due to a global shortage of virus testing kits testing is being prioritized for individuals with ACUTE RESPIRATORY SYMPTOMS, RELEVANT EXPOSURE and are in one of the following groups:
-Older adults with other medical conditions
-Healthcare workers and paramedics
-First responders (Fire and Police)
-Residents and staff of Long-term care homes, retirement homes and supportive housing
Anyone who is note in one of the above priority groups and has mild respiratory symptoms is being asked to self-isolate for 14 days EVEN IF SYMPTOMS RESOLVE AND THEY FEEL BETTER.

Niagara Region has laboratory confirmation of two cases of COVID-19
There is no community transmission in Niagara at this time and risk to local residents remains low.
The Government of Canada recommends avoiding all non-essential travel outside of Canada.
ALL RETURNING TRAVELLERS FROM OUTSIDE OF CANADA ARE BEING ASKED TO SELF-ISOLATE FOR 14 DAYS AND MONITOR FOR SIGNS OF RESPIRATORY INFECTION.
